We made it back to Oz ok. We were a little on the tired side but we got back onto Buller on the sunday night and started work on the tuesday.
It was a busy first week getting everything ready for the opening weekend. we had a dumping of snow aswell to top things off.
we're into our second week now and the snows trying to escape. The hotels a little quieter now for the next few weeks so we've got our fingers crossed for a massive dump of snow so we can get out for a board. I've only been out once so far and it was icy. George has managed to groove his new board, he ran over a rock....there were tears. it doesnt look so bad now and it still works the same.
oooh as we speak its snowing!!!
we've made a few friends aswell, we dont really have much staff at the minute so we're raking in the hours. George has been through a chef already so he doesn't get a day off this week.
other than that theres not really alot to tell, we've just been working and sleeping alot.
We hear you're all having nice weather back home and the suncreams out...jealous!
And lastly, we'd like to wish grandma Johnny a very happy birthday!! Hope you have a wonderful day...we wish we could be there.
